Bill Nanson tasted the 2020s and was impressed; the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru shows pronounced minerality and tension with long aging potential.
Named Antonin Cosnier a “Burgundy rising star” and recommended the 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru for its elegant mineral profile and delightful surprise on the palate.
Despite its youth, the domaine’s wines are gaining recognition among professionals and consumers for quality and clear terroir expression.
A descendant of Domaine Marius Delarche, founded by his grandfather Marius in the 1950s, Antonin studied enology at the Catholic University of Porto after working in Portugal’s food industry. In 2018 he returned to the family vineyards in Pernand-Vergelesses to establish his own label. Though small in scale, his unwavering focus on quality is earning growing market attention.
Every winery carries its own philosophy—shaped by terroir, tradition, and the winemaker’s vision. These values influence every step, from vineyard practices to cellar decisions, ultimately crafting wines that express both place and purpose. Below is an overview of this estate’s guiding principles and stylistic identity.
The estate practices sustainable viticulture, avoiding chemical herbicides and minimizing synthetic inputs. Though not certified organic, the focus remains on manual vineyard care, biodiversity, and healthy soils, honoring the land and its natural rhythms.
All grapes are hand-harvested to preserve quality and integrity.
– Red wines: Pinot Noir is fully destemmed, fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and then aged in French oak barrels.
– White wines: Chardonnay is gently pressed and undergoes fermentation and aging in French oak barrels.
The wines are defined by their precise fruit expression, structural balance, and clear sense of place. Whites are rich with a creamy texture, while reds are spicy, layered, and refined — suitable for early enjoyment and graceful aging.
